Purchased spring 2017 – and love the little device. It is quiet and sits on the corner of my deck. A bright light shines and attracts the bugs. There is a fan inside it that ‘sucks’ them in and keeps them there. I empty the tray every few days and it is filled with bugs. Love it.

I really like this version. It looks better than other traps and gives you a mesh at the bottom to show you the damage it does. Not sure if the other reviewers are aware but the residue on the bottom mesh is actually chopped up insects….mostly moths and mosquito. The blue lighting also looks nice at night and this machine isn’t as loud as other versions Ive tried…great product

I didn’t find this very useful outside, but I use it inside over night and works great to catch the bugs that get into the house. I am happy overall with this item.
